Week 1: GAP Analysis & Leadership Calibration

In the first session, participants will assess the current state of their practice and leadership approach through a comprehensive GAP analysis and DiSC behavioral assessment. This session will help identify operational inefficiencies, leadership gaps, and areas for improvement. Through guided discussion and personalized insights, dentists will gain a clearer understanding of how their leadership style impacts team dynamics and practice performance. Following the session, each participant will set customized leadership goals in a one-on-one consultation with Dawn, establishing a strong foundation for growth over the next eight weeks.

  • Objective: Assess the current state of the practice and the dentist’s leadership style
  • Content: Pre-session GAP analysis on the practice’s financial, systems, and clinical controls. Discuss the current leadership style using DiSC behavioral assessments.

Week 2: Culture & Team Retention

Building a high-performing, top 2% team starts with strong leadership and a thriving culture. In this session, dentists will analyze their DiSC assessment results to understand how their leadership style influences team dynamics, motivation, and retention. Through guided discussions and role-playing exercises, participants will learn to navigate challenging team interactions, improve accountability, and create a more cohesive work environment. With insights from one-on-one leadership evaluations, each dentist will develop a 90-day cultural improvement plan, focusing on team mission, values, and leadership alignment to foster long-term success.

  • Content: Review DiSC results and discuss how leadership style influences practice culture

September 8, 2025

Week 3: Process Optimization, A/R & Quick Money Wins

Maximizing financial efficiency starts with refining processes and cash flow management. In this session, dentists will conduct a mini-audit of their scheduling and accounts receivable (A/R) processes to uncover inefficiencies and identify quick-win strategies for immediate revenue growth. Key takeaways include A/R follow-up protocols, insurance negotiation tactics, and phone role-playing exercises to improve patient communication and collections. By the end of the session, participants will assign process improvement tasks to their team and implement at least one immediate financial win to share in the next session.

In this session, dentists will learn how to track and analyze the 10 core KPIs that drive predictable success. Through hands-on exercises, participants will review monthly financial performance and implement strategies to hold their team accountable for key operational goals. The discussion will emphasize the importance of execution and follow-through, helping dentists establish clear performance benchmarks and accountability agreements. By the end of the session, each participant will set team performance goals and prepare for a one-on-one coaching session with Dawn to fine-tune their approach.

The discussion will focus on building a culture of leadership at all levels, ensuring every team member is invested in the practice’s success. Dentists will also learn how to implement effective reward systems, including bonuses and time-off incentives, to drive performance and boost morale. To put these strategies into action, participants will draft a team reward system proposal, set up a one-on-one with Dawn for feedback, and prepare one final win to bring into the Bonus Session.

The session will also focus on setting next-step financial and operational goals, with a focus on sustained growth through a structured one-year plan. Participants will develop monthly and quarterly communication calendars to maintain team accountability and drive continued momentum. To solidify their strategy, each attendee will schedule a one-on-one call with Dawn & David to refine their long-term vision and action plan.
